A native New Yorker, Robin Beck is probably best known in the U.S. for the song First time which was used in a 1989 Coca-Cola commercial. The song achieved platinum success in Europe, as well as her next three singles. Her 1989 Trouble or nothing album was Robin's first album on a major label, and was a pretty straight forward rock n' roll effort. Produced by Desmond Child and features Toto's guitarist Steve Lukather on guitar on 9 of the 10 tracks. Includes the Stanley/Child track "Hide your heart" and one track written by Alice Cooper.
