Bremen 98 captures the complete September 2, 1998 show from Germany’s Weserstadion during the final leg of the Stones‘ tour of 97 concerts that spanned five legs and four continents in support of their Bridges To Babylon album. The album achieved Platinum and Gold status in multiple markets upon its’ original release in 1997. The Bridges To Babylon Tour was one of firsts – the first time the band went on the road with a permanent B-stage, and also the first time that fans could vote on the band’s website for a track they wanted to hear at the show – “Memory Motel” in the case of the Bremen fans, making each show on the tour unique. By Stones standards, Bremen was an intimate show, with just 40,000 fans for which the band performed 155 minutes of classic rock favorites, including their cover of Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone.”
