Romano Nervoso’s fourth album moves nervously glam rock and punk. Internet Generation, the opener of The Return Of The Rocking Dead, points to our modern screen narrative. A heavy song with symphonic intro and haunting choir, post-punk to lick fingers and thumbs off. The title song also balances on a horror gravestone. Punk comes to the surface again in Wild Boy, co-written with Danko Jones. The jewish harp makes you tremble on a tight drum rhythm with an Italian parlando-style story, Il Ritorno Dello Psicopatico, worthy of Edgar Allen Poe. And the version of Kate Bush’s Babooshka also does the band justice.
