Description
Roxettes sixth studio album, Have A Nice Day, was released in 1999 and it presented a more adult contemporary sound in many ways, focusing more so on piano and strings instead of electric guitars for the most part. The band had lost its American label so the album werent released in Usa. The album performed well commercially even though it was not as successful as previous studio albums. The album is an emotional rollercoaster, touching mostly upon love, breakups, crushes, loneliness, and the ups and downs of relationships. Surely this is nothing new when it comes to music, but does anyone do it better than Roxette? British magazine NME called it a “clever-clever bastard of an album which defies Doctor Rock”.
