Description
Ruinthrone from Rome performs power metal with histories about legends and myths, bound in the dimension known as fantasy but they also tells stories that are a sign of our time. This doesn’t sound like Stratovarius or Sonata Arctica but more complex, heavier and epic like Iced Earth and Blind Guardian. Their most interesting aspects are the awesome vocals of singer Edoardo Gregni and a very mature songwriting. The track, “Summoner”, starts with keyboards then it develops into brilliant and powerful melodies, and strong riffs. The vocals are awesome, and it’s a pleasure to state the great work the band spent in doing backing vocals and choral refrains. Drumming is technical and powerful as well. Then the solo, very fast, full of notes and melody. Overall, a really great song and just one of many on the album. Fans of harder power metal should check this band out
