Having spent the past 11 years honing their war themed metal, relentlessly releasing album after album, touring extensively and continually pushing the boundaries of their creative process, the band were almost ready for the recording of their fifth album Coat Of Arms. Looking to Sabaton followers for fresh inspiration, the band were inundated with Ideas and suggestions of Battles to re-enact through their own special brand of war metal. Coat of Arms was recorded in their own studios except for the drums that were done at Abyss studios together with Peter Tagtgren.
