This is where it all started for the Los Angeles doom kings Saints Vitus. The first stepping stone was taken under the moniker of Tyrant back in 1978 and the band only recorded a few rehearsals before changing their name to Saint Vitus in 1981. One tape seems to have been handed out and some site are labeling this as Demo 1979. However no real demo was ever recorded and the material that do excists are just rehearsal recordings. The material have been cleaned up as much as possible and even if its still raw its still and interesting release and a great documentation of the very first recordings from this doom act. The material here hails from two recordings, the first with Dave Chandler singing and the second has Scott Reagers.
