"Ante Christum (Natum)" is the first full-length release (after two demo materials) from one of Poland's most interesting death/black metal bands up to date. However, describing them as death/black cannot easily explain the complex vibe of their twisted music. Since the very beginning of this record we are immediately confronted with a completely fresh and in some way even innovative approach to playing aggressive metal. Basically you can compare this Polish band to their country mates of Yattering, because of the complexity of their music, mostly based on very intricate rhythm patterns, especially the drums draw a sort of strange sonic architecture. In fact some tracks may sound disorientating to a distracted listener. Ante Christum Natum (Latin for Before Christ (was) Born). Released by Empire in Poland and Osmose for the rest of the world.
