Invincible is the 13th album from the Swiss rockers Shakra. More inspired than ever, this 2023 opus arrives at the right time, the Swiss quintet once again hitting us with unifying and straightforward heavy hard rock. From the riffs to the choruses to the arrangements, everything here is built to settle permanently in your head and trigger with each listen a furious desire to nod your skull without stopping. And then once again the production is enormous, and the combo has taken a slight dark turn with the most beautiful effect. Invincible might be the Shakra album since 2007s Infected, and has to be one of their best albums in their twenty four year career, it just sounds more melodic and more consistent than their recent previous work. This is splendid guitar driven hard rock like only Shakra can make, if your a fan of Shakra you can buy this blindfolded, as the boys have delivered this time around.
