Rare original 1991 mini album

Former Vinnie Vincent Invasion members Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum formed Slaughter with guitarist Tim Kelly and drummer Blas Elias in 1988 in an attempt to cross over to pop audiences. Their debut album Stick It To Ya soared to the top of the charts and sold millions of albums. Mining the same territory as corporate bands like Bon Jovi, Winger and Warrant, Their metal style’s main focus is on catchy melodies and Mark Slaughter’s impressive vocal range, particularly his somewhat nasal falsetto. Since their debut album was such a success, and it went double platinum, the fans wanted more while at the same time the band were supposed to tour and do promotion work. To buy the band some time the record label decided to release Stick It Live, a live EP of the most popular tracks from the debut (Burnin Bridges, Eye To Eye, Fly To The Angels, Loaded Gun, Up All Night). The live recording isnt that raw but just as polish as most commercial hair metal bands wanted to sound on record.
