Description

Double vinyl single on white vinyls with gatefold cover, iron on patch and stickers. Limited 50 copies

Slegest came to life as Ese left Vreid in 2010. The intention was to create Black Sabbath inspired music with harsh vocals. An idea Ese took further, developing Slegest into the entity it is today with its rock-orientated sound distinguished by a distinctive black metal edge. First this was a one man band and the debut was the self titled EP that was released on Ese’s own Systrond Recordings label. After that they were signed to a record label that released their first full-length album Loyndom. After a gig at the small town of Hoyanger on the northern shores of the Sognefjord, the newly formed complete lineup of Ese on guitar and vocals, Sor on guitars, Hovard on bass and Fjosne on drums – gave the audience a taste of what was to come: a hard grooving no non-sense heavy rock band. In 2018 the band released a double vinyl single called Lagnad I E, a powerful and captivating release that showcases the band’s impressive musical prowess. From the opening track, Intro to the closing track, Vandring, the album is a journey through the darker side of metal. The album features a strong mix of heavy riffs, blistering solos, and pounding drums, all of which are expertly executed by the band. The vocals are equally impressive, with a range of styles and techniques used to convey the album’s themes of darkness and despair. One of the standout tracks is Undergangens Tankesmed, which features a haunting melody and a driving rhythm that perfectly captures the album’s overall tone. Another highlight is Da Brenne I Glåsi, which features a blistering guitar solo and a chorus that is sure to get stuck in your head.

Track list:
1. Maler Lys I Mørketid
2. Blodets Varme Gjennom Meg
3. Rooted In Knowledge-live Fresvik
4. Ho Som Haustar Aleine-live Fresvik
