Original 2012 vinyl single

Slegest came to life as Ese left Vreid in 2010. The intention was to create Black Sabbath inspired music with harsh vocals. An idea Ese took further, developing Slegest into the entity it is today with its rock-orientated sound distinguished by a distinctive black metal edge. First this was a one man band and the debut was the self titled EP that was released on Ese’s own Systrond Recordings label. Fans of heavy music with their roots in both black metal as well as the classic heavy rock from the 70s and 80s should check this out.
