Description
Sorcery from Chicago was formed in the fall of 1975 and their debut album, Sinister Soldiers, is widely regarded, along with Legend From The Fjords, as one of the five most important U.S. hard rock / metal albums of the late 70’s. Features the iconic artwork of Janetta Lewis and amazing Sabbathic heavy rock that leads to epic compositions such as Snowhit, Sorcerer, Arachnid etc. Classic 70s hardrock with some Purple riffs and some beautiful ballads, one of them clocking in at 12 minutes, and some phenomenal guitar work. This version comes with two extra tunes that were originally recorded shortly after the band’s demise under a Kirk Bryk project named Wicked Head. The sound is in the same direction and a touch heavier maybe.
