Sorhin were always great but maybe never as great as on the second full length album Apokalypsens Angel. Sorhin plays raw and fast but also melodic black metal which fortunately doesn’t sound like a hundred of other Swedish black metal bands. The album starts with great intro composed for Sorhin by Puissance and then Sorhin attacks you without mercy! The sound is very raw and well-produced. This album is filled with great melodies and very catchy and memorable riffs and there are no weak songs here. This 2009 re-issue has been carefully redesigned and re-mastered by the band, with an optimal selection of bonus material, these versions are doing such classic Black Metal recordings justice.
