Stench is a death metal act featuring two members of Tribulation. Their debut album In Putrescence is an amazing debut. Every instrument sounds clear, excellent musicianship makes it a perfect recording. Blackened death metal with tons of great riffs, catchy, raw and brutal. The band made two albums, the second one being Venture, before calling it a day in 2014. This debut has some sort of Carcass ala Necroticism era vibe. A little rawer, angrier and faster than the second album Venture. Black metal is certainly the dominant feature, but there are plenty of other features that make it very interesting stuff. Progressive song writing and cool bass lines.
