Stench was a death metal act from Arvika featuring Jonathan Hultén and Johannes Andersson from Tribulation. Stench’s music is much more vicious and aggressive than Tribulation. Obviously there are some similarities between both bands, like some riffs and especially that tendency to use eerie, creepy melodies is something that both bands share. Their last single follows the path set up by the bands two albums, In Putrescence and Venture. The three tracks on here are exclusive for this single and they are pulling off an unwholesome vibe and deadly sickness. The sinewy riffage bounds incessantly, with scathing vocals hissing and snarling over the rattling percussion and blends the harshness of black metal and the aggression of death metal with some razor sharp thrashing riffs. The tracks here is a trio of debauchery captured in musical essence.
