Original Metronome EP from 1955

Stig Järrel (1910-1998) was a Swedish actor and revue artist. He was one of the most well-known Swedish actors of the 20th century. He had a wide range and mastered everything from revue to drama. He was the leading comedian in the Kar de Mumma revue at Blancheteatern and Folkan for 34 years. On the revue stage he became known as the choleric and truth-telling figure Fibban Karlsson who heckled those in power and politicians in sharp monologues. In 1965 he was awarded the Karl Gerhards honorary prize. This EP features spoken monologue where Stig play Fibban in the Kar De Mumma revue. The B-side features Eva Dahlbeck and Stig Järrel in a monolog that original was published as a 10” shellac disc a few years earlier
