Description

Still sealed 4 lp box set with booklet and poster. Limited 1400 copies

Strana Officina was born in Tuscany, Italy in the middle of the seventies when the two brothers, Fabio and Roberto Cappanera together with bass player Enzo Mascolo starts to play Rory Gallagher,AC/DC, J.Hendrix and Black Sabbath covers after their work at the factory. The band released two EPs and one LP during their career and played the first Italian Heavy Metal festival in 1982 together with Death SS amongst others. Strana Officina were very important for the Italian metal scene and when the two Cappanera brothers lost their lives in a car crash in the summer of 1993 it also meant the end for the band. However the sons of the Cappanera brothers joined the band and they were asked to headline the Gods Of Metal festivals in 2006. This was an amazing night for the band and for the fans who where there. This box set includes re-releases of the two EPS and the full length album together with an exclusive 8-track lp with previously unreleased material recorded between 1979 and 1989. The box also includes a 16 page booklet with rare pictures and bio together with an exclusive poster
