Rare original Hot Blood Records release

Strangers debut album, The Bell, is probably the closest thing to Helloweens Wall Of Jericho out there, an essential release in the ancient German speed metal chapter. Very worthy of hearing and quite possibly very unheard of and underrated. With Wolfgang Rieger and Gerd Salewski who later played with Chroming Rose. The band would release another album five years later. Then it was just Wolfgang Rieger left and he went with a totally new sound and directon. The album was called Pretty Angel. And to compare Pretty Angels with The Bell is like comparing Chameleon with Walls Of Jericho. So if you want a great German metal album then go for this one. It has some fast rhythm’s, pounding beats, soaring vocals and choruses, ripping solo’s that continue on endlessly. Adorable
