Quebec, the city, is well know for its awesome grind, D-Beat and thrash scene… unless you’ve been living under a rock, everybody’s heard, at least, of bands like Mesrine, Soothsayer and grind kings Dahmer. And now we hae the second offering from Quebecs heavy hitter Striver. Musically you can describe them as a thrashcore combo, that actually describes the band’s sound and general musical direction perfectly. They blend thrash, hardcore and power violence perfectly. This is viciously wonderful music for everybody craving the good old days of the crossover years. A must for everybody into Punch and D.R.I.
