The Neo Punkz were a punk band from Haarlem, Netherlands that existed from 1979 to 1981. Inspired by fellow townsmen Jesus And The Gospelfuckers, the group performed in regional youth centres and quickly managed to recruit a local following through a sophisticated stencil and graffiti campaign. The band released one record, the EP Fascist Fuckerz, which is characterised by the furious double rhythm guitar and the creepy laugh of the very young singer. Years later, the band was discovered who were so impressed by the young, loud and snotty sound. When guitarist Knaag left the band continued but changed name to Suspene and released one more single, Murder With The Axe in 1981. Both singles are highly collectable and have become extremely valuable punk singles.
