Reduced price due to ringwear on cover

After the success of Band Aid the musicians on the Swedish metal scene wanted to make a contribution. This was arranged and produced by Easy Action and later Europe guitarist Kee Marcello. The project was called Swedish Metal Aid and it featured no less than 80 Swedish metal musicians from 29 different bands. Kee asked Joey Tempest to write a track and the final result Give A Helpin Hand is a typical ballad very suitable for the project. The music was recorded by Treat and Easy Action and the vocals and choir was recorded in Alpha Soundtrade Studios in Solna, Sweden on the 28th of August 1985. Lead vocals were done by Robert Ernlund (Treat), Bjorn Lodin (Bedlam, Six Feet Under, Baltimoore), Malin Ekholm (Aphrodite), Tommy Nilsson (Horizont, Easy Action), Joakim Lundholm (220 Volt) and Joey Tempest (Europe). The choir consisted of members from the following Swedish bands 220 Volt , Aphrodite, Bedlam, Candy Roxx, Chris 99, Crystal Pride, Deep River, Easy Action, Europe, Fifth Avenue, Glorious Bankrobbers, Heavy Load, Madison, Mentzer Group, Motherlode, Neon Leon & Bondage Babies, Odessa, Orions Swords, Oz, Power, Red Baron, Rolene, Silver Mountain, Spellbound, Steel Wings, Torch, Trash, Treat and Universe. This single sold more than 50 000 copies and the money were donated to the starving people at Etiopia. The B-side of the single has the autographs laser etched into the vinyls by the six lead singers on the track.
