A quarter of a century ago, in a town south of Montreal called Saint Bruno, the two brothers Rick and Dan Hughes decided they wanted to be in a heavy metal band. The founded the band Sword and made a splendid powerful and solid album called Metalized in 1986. The sophomore album Sweet Dreams appeared in 1988 and with that album they tried to repeated the formula of their debut with solid songwriting and production. But when the two brothers found a box of demos that record companies had rejected in the late 80s it ignited a spark and soon they had fire under their asses. The material found deserved more and they wanted to revisit and rework theese old tunes in order to actualize it and get some sort of vengeance. The result? You be the judge!
