The acronym Sysr stands for symbiotic stridulations, a special kind of sound production. However dark electronic sounds coupled with pounding guitars are by no means a special kind of sound production as acts such as Swedens Deathstars and Pain have done this for several years. But The French act Sysr do has a lot to offer on their debut. They ad gothic parts to their music and doesnt sound as sterile as many other acts in the genre. They have lots of energetic, catchy, and catchy tunes. The overall performance of the four French is very convincing. If you love the above mentioned bands or the originators like Ministry and White Zombie then you cant go wrong with this album.
