Description
Tacit Fury is a doom death act from Moscow Russia that started back in 2001. Their debut album The Invented Pain is a melancholic and heavy album that feels inspired by 90s doom death giants such as Paradise Lost, Winter, Anathema, My Dying Bride, Misanthrope, Yearning and the likes. The band mixes clean female vocals with the deepest of male growling. They seems to draw their atmosphere from a dead civilization. But this is not all. They borrows from brutal death metal (the quick guitar percussive parties) and of dark black metal (the predatory screams, the quick guitar’s motives) as well as of ambient music (keyboards and computer parts) as well as some choir singing. This is the bands debut album and there are some flaws. Some tracks are very moving while others feel a bit amateurish. But still interesting to check out if you have a doom devoted soul.
