The New Wave of British Heavy Metal era is considered one of the most controversial movements in the whole history of metal. While it unquestionably gave birth to some legendary bands and epic albums, most of the groups from that time just werent worth the attention acts meaninglessly copying one standard songwriting idea after another were a daily routine back then. But among mediocre wannabes, geniuses could be spotted as well. One of the most influential formations which emerged in the beginnings of the N.W.O.B.H.M. madness was TANK a fierce, ambitious young band, taking all the best that was in punk and metal to a higher level. With their self titled fifth album however it felt like the band had run out of ideas and it proved to be the bands weakest effort. Even if its not their best album its still a must to own all Tank album
