In March of 2020 Testament released an internet based slot game. At the same time the band released three limited maxi singles for three of the tracks from their new album at the time, Dark Roots Of Earth. Each single comes with a cover artwork based on the internet game and comes with a lazer etched B-side. The material on the bands full length album, Dark Roots Of Earth, is fantasy-based, partially based on the prophecies of the Mayan calendar, partially based on the whole prophecy of the end-of-the-world says guitarist/founder-member Eric Peterson.
