Testament arrived at the 1987 Dynamo Festival backed by a startlingly mature debut and boatloads of promise. They left conquering heroes, having handily converted the European masses assembled there with their accomplished musicianship and ferocious live show. So successful was their performance that their label, Megaforce, quickly issued the ‘Live At Eindhoven’ to immortalize their amazing set and drive home the fact that this new Bay Area thrash metal quintet was a force to be reckoned with. This was one of the most popular import thrash metal albums in the States during the late 80s since it wasn’t released in Usa until 1990. The Megaforce album however was made as a 5 track mini album with only 4 of the tracks recorded live at this amazing performing. For many years the old vinyl bootleg ‘Rain Of Terror’ from 1987 was the only way to get hold of the complete show. Then in 2009 Prosthetic records finally released the complete show on album. Here you will find the bone-crushing highlights from their classic first album like ‘Over The Wall’, ‘Burnt Offerings’, ‘The Haunting’ and ‘Apocalyptic City’ in all their vicious on-stage glory — and often at even faster speeds than heard on the debut. This live performance also includes ‘Reign Of Terror’ from the Legacy demo and ‘Disciples Of The Watch’ from the not yet released ‘The New Order’ album.
