Listening to the legendary Swedish artist Thastrom 2015 album, Den Morronen/That Morning, is like being kissed by the sirocco or to be swept away in the hot wind in North Africa and the Arabian desert area, 30 floors up in the air. One thing is certain. Thastrom has outdone himself. Again. Den Morronen is evocative, atmospheric and most of all beautiful. This album is reminiscent of the sort of dark rock artists such as Nick Cave does but this time with traces of post-punk, goth, industrial. Den Morronen is a stunning album that shows that Thastrom is still in the top league of Swedish artists
