Out of all the bands that emerged in the immediate aftermath of punk rock in the late 70s, few were as enduring and popular as the Cure. Led through numerous incarnations by guitarist/vocalist Robert Smith, the band became a flagship for Great Britain’s post-punk gloom-rock trend with a ghoulish image that masked the diversity of their music. This rare compilation contains rare recordings of TV appearances from the years 1979-1987.
