Description

The Exploding Boys is a postpunk indie band from Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 2006 and named after a song from The Cure. Their fourth album, simply called just Four, was released in 2013 and is a dark goth rock album influenced by bands like Sisters Of Mercy, Joy Division, The Cure and Bauhaus. Their music is melodic and varied. The managed to blend synth pop with hard edge guitars. Stefan Axell, Lars Andersson, Nick Isgren and Fake Moss member Johan Sjoblom has made an album that could and should achieve mainstream acceptance. Tiamat mainman Johan Edlund helped out on the single track Dark City Part 2.
