Very rare American private pressed music cassette. Grey cassette with a happy holiday insert

In the summer of 1985, Long Beach, NY local guitar hero S.A. Adams decided to make a stylistic change. Leaving a band who’s music was directly influenced by early Judas Priest and Dianno-era Iron Maiden, Adams forayed into a punk-influenced metal hybrid-part GBH and The Stooges, part Motorhead, Raven and Venom. Financed by vocalist/lyricist Bob Muldowney of Kick-Ass Monthly magazine (the mysterious fan who pushed Metallica’s demo onto Megaforce’s John Zazula), their 9 song “DeSade Was A Feminist” album generated so much underground shock, horror and attention that Combat Record’s Bootcamp series offered the unit a 7 year / 7 album recording contract. In tow on these summer recordings was Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), an up and coming neighborhood drummer. However the band declinded their label offers and Mike recorded the legendary Majesty 1986 demo that later turned into Dream Theater and Adams continued with his Punk/Metal mayhem, first with a band called The Fury and then with his S.A. Adams solo project. The Fury released a bunch of tapes and a vinyl single. The 1985-1986 recordings that S.A. Adams did with Mike Portnoy was released on an album in 2010 called Unearthed and a lot of The Fury material was released on an album called Sex in 2013. This 1989 demo, X-Mas Fun From The Fury, however remains unreleased and the material here can only be found on this original demo. The material here is hilarious and over in just a few minutes.

Track list:
1. Jingle Hell
2. Rudolfs Revenge
