Description

Canadian bodybuilder, actor and musician Jon Mikl Thor became famous for his theatrical stage presence and music that blends traditional heavy metal with elements of glam rock and power metal. But where did this larger-than-life persona Thor found his musical inspiration in the beginning. Rock The Universe answer this question. Here you can hear Thors thoroughly metalified versions of songs by The Kinks, The Doors, The Yardbirds, Montrose and many more. The album opens with a cover version of Sweets Action. A track that Thor performed live as far back as the Merv Griffin show in 1976.
