Belgian black metal act Thronum Vrondor was created in 2005. Their fourth full length album Dies Tenebrosa Sicut Nox was released 2 years after their third album Ichor (The Rebbelion). Thronum Vrondor has always stayed true to their own sound which would be best described as second wave of old school black metal. Combined with their taste for disgust towards any form of monotheism, you can already imagine what to expect on an album like this. Powerful guitars who variate between rough fast phased riffs combined with blast beats, to harmonic melodic riffing supported by a powerful bassline in combination with outstanding vocals who together create an unique atmosphere and listening experience. Fierce, unrelentless just like in the old days. A grand jewel for every black metal fan and their collection.
