Formed in 1982, Tokyo Blade were one of many acts that would be part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement. The band released their third album, Black Hearts And Jaded Spades in 1985 and this recording captures the band live at the Camden Palace in London on the 24th of September 1985, during their tour for that album. Nice to have a document from this band and period. But it was a trouble time and by the end of the year, Tokyo Blade had disbanded, with all members subsequently dedicating their time and efforts to other projects. Members went on to Shogun, Paul Diannos Battlezone, Jagged Edge, Skin, Johnny Crash while original guitarist Andy Boulton continued recording under the name Andy Boulton’s Tokyo Blade, with an entirely new line-up in place. This 60 minute show includes tracks such as Undercover Honeymoon, Night Of The Blade, If Heaven Is Hell and more
