Very rare original Czech Monitor Records 1992 release with insert

Czech Republics thrash metal gods Torrs history starts as early as 1977 when the founder of group Ota Heres (only 12 years old) began to play music with some friends. The 1987 demo Witchhammer came out and started the golden era for the band. Founder Ota Heres left the band after the first single and their classic first vinyl album Armageddon was recorded as a three piece. The band added a second guitarist, Pavel Satan Kohout for their second album, Institut Klinicke Smrti, but found themselves back as a three piece in time for the recording of the third album. The album Chcipni O Kus Dal was recorded during two weeks of May and June in 1992 at the Studio C recording studio and released in the autumn of 1992. While the two first albums were a blend of thrash metal and early black metal this third album sounded cleaner, more thrash and heavy metal while the harscher black influences comes forward again on tracks such as the heavy Anal Power and closing track O Psovi S Vyrazenym Dechem. The album was first supposed to be called Hlad (Hunger) but in the end the title was chosen after the distinctive rock and roll opener Chcipni O Kus Dal. It has a lot of varities even a slow ballad like song in Vzpominky Na Zivot (Memories Of Life). So this album shows that the band were exploring new ideas and maybe didnt really know which way to go but its still a very interesting album like the spooky Svatebni Noc V Pohrebnim Voze (Wedding Night In The Hearse), the Grave Digger sounding Hlad and of course the two tracks thats sounds more like the old Torr. So no matter what this is the mighty Torr and that alone would be the reason to spend your money on it.
