The four-piece metal band ToxicRose was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2010. The band consists of members from Gemini Five, Crashdiet and Lipstixx N Bullet so right from the start it was a band to keep your eyes on. Their two track debut demo has now been pressed onto this EP, co-produced by Crashdiet guitarist Martin Sweet, brother to ToxicRose drummer Michael Sweet. The good thing about this band is that there is no compromising or limits in their world. Powerful vocals combined with aggressive guitars, grand melodic synths and dark emotional lyrics, ToxicRose stands tall for the outcast and they’re here to take metal to a new level with their catchy melodic epic metal anthems and shocking looks. This EP moves quickly and the two tracks on here both kicks you in the face. Dont Hide In The Dark explodes, igniting an insatiable desire to hear more. Swift guitar licks by Tom Wouda and massively talented vocals by Andy Lipstixx, make this song an anthem that will make the adrenaline rush and the blood pulsate through your veins. The drive of bass master Goran Imperator and drummer Michael TXR really brings the force that pushes the sound to its heights. These guys are the real deal and those phenomenal choruses and backing vocals are stunning. I Drown In Red starts with some tasty synthesizer and kicks into high gear.
