Treat are Swedish hard rock veterans who released their first single already back in 1984, and after a break the band returned to the music sphere in 2010 and after that the band has gone from clarity to clarity and releasing their strongest album to date with their seventh album Ghost Of Graceland in 2016. During their tour for that album the band stopped in Italy to perform at the Frontiers Rock Festival on April the 23rd, 2016. The Frontiers Rock Festival is an annual concert event organized by the band’s label. Held close to Milano this was the third annual edition of the festival and saw Treat offering a show with a great mixture of new and recent songs taken from their latest album, the highly regarded 2010 release Coup De Grace, and classic songs from the good old days like the classic World Of Promises, Get You On The Run and “Ready For The Taking. The band’s regular keyboard player Patrik Appelgren could not be present during this performance and instead is treated by Jona Tee, who plays keyboards in H.E.A.T. Treat’s performance was truly a unique and special one and this release documents a great moment in the band’s history as well as serving as a celebration of one of Sweden’s finest hard rock bands ever.
