Description

Treekillaz is an act made up by four friends from Biel in Switzerland back in 1998. The mail influences for these four Swiss is easy to recognize as they sound like a Seattle act. You can hear traces of Nirvana, Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam but the band lack some of Alice In Chains dark atmosphere and Eddie Vedders mood. Instead they have added some melodic rock and pop influences. They made a cd demo and were signed to N-gage records for their debut album Oxygently in 2001. They were then offered a record deal with Warner Records but during the recording of their second album the band leaves Warner because they are not willing to follow the labels demand. Their second disc Indiva appears in 2002 and their third album Leaving Last is recorded in Stockholm with Jocke Skog of Clawfinger. Their 2008 cover album In Bed With Friends features amongst others Zak Tell of Clawfinger and their 2010 album Season Of The Lonesome are produced by former Coroner and Kreator guitarist Tommy Vetterli, who gives the album an extremely powerful sound.
