The debut demo from Tungsten Axe was released in December of 2011. The band was formed in Falun, Sweden in the year 2009 by drummer Andy and his brother Dick (vocals and guitar). The vision behind the band was to create music in the true spirit of 80s Heavy Metal. The band got the third member onboard, Johan on lead guitar, who had the right spirit and guitar licks. With a session bass player they recorded four tracks and released it as a self-titled cassette EP in January 2011 in an edition of 100 copies. It’s a rough and honest so be prepared for Real Heavy Metal. None of these tracks can be found on the bands debut album, Swedish Iron, released in 2013.
