Description
Very rare original private pressed cd single
As part of the NWOBHM movement, Tygers Of Pan Tang got some early success when their fine debut album Wild Cat, released in 1980, reached No. 18 on the UK Album Chart in its first week. Following this, guitarist John Sykes joined the band, and vocalist Jon Deverill replaced Jess Cox after his departure. This line-up released the album Spellbound in 1981, which further established their presence in the NWOBHM scene. The band would become more melodic on their later releases until they fell apart. Their legacy lived on and influenced many later metal bands. When the band found the Italian vocalist Jacopo Jack Meille in 2004 everything suddenly felt right again. The band got some new energy and guitarist Robb Weir not only found a great singer but also someone he could write new tracks with. The band both wrote new tracks and started to jam on old tunes who sounded so fresh again with Meille on vocals. The band couldnt wait to introduce the bands new singer and new sound, which was a return to the roots of the band. The band released a 5 track cd single in October of 2007 that featured two new tunes, that would show up on the bands 2008 album Animal Instinct as well as 3 re-recorded old tunes Hellbound and Take It from Spellbound and Rock N Roll Man from the 1980 vinyl single with the same name. This 5-track cd single was then sold through the bands official website only.
