2023 saw the two biggest heavy metal releases in the underground: Tyrann’s sophomore knockout, Besatt and the highly-anticipated debut album from Century. Of course, ya don’t stop at the top, and both bands have one more surprise for you maniacs in the form of a split-7″. This isn’t an ordinary release, but a testament to the friendship, loyalty and respect both bands and label have for each other. On side-A, Tyrann puts their high-octane spin on the 1983 Imperiet single Alltid Rött Alltid Rätt while on side-AA, Century delivers Nosferatu, an ode to the coming of darkness (written and sung entirely in Swedish, a first for the band). This record will undoubtedly cement Tyrann and Century as the true leaders of the current traditional metal pack.
