Double album on black vinyls with gatefold cover

The Covid pandemic turned a lot around for most musicians. No gigs, no festivals no touring. Many bands went into the studio to record material for an upcoming album. Ulf Lundell rented Cirkus in Stockholm on the 28th of October 2020 to play live without an audience. The show was filmed by Swedish television and also released as an album. This is Lundell’s eight live album and definitely one of his best. The show has a superb setlist. Lundell has some rarities like the track Bente and some of his biggest sing-along songs has been deleted from the set. This makes it so intimate and so interesting to hear Lundell without his biggest hits. Old favorites like Evangeline and Jag Saknar Dej are absolute triumphic. Ulf Lundell and the band are in top form. 2020 was a different year and Lundell only managed to make one gig. Im glad it was a good one and that it was released on album.
