This album features the two first demos with Unleashed pressed onto one vinyl. Unleashed was a Kungsangen, Sweden based death metal band that not only has defied genre stereotypes by maintaining a relatively solid line-up but stuck true to their convictions with each successive album release. Unleashed (Lords of the E chords) enhance their material with ancestral themes and Viking mythology. Featuring ex-Nihilist guitarist Johnny Hedlund, Unleashed recorded demos in 1990 titled The Utter Dark in March and September’s Revenge that soon sold out, prompting a deal with Germany’s Century Media Records.
