Despite its curious name, the Hide Your Sheep 1982-’83 tour remains Van Halen’s live pinnacle during which, on 11th October 1982, they appeared at the 19,000 capacity Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland. Recorded for live FM radio broadcast in exceptional audio quality, Van Halen are featured doing precisely what they do best: delivering their electric, mesmerising show to an ecstatic audience. The mammoth Hide Your Sheep tour, consisted of 97 shows between June 1982 and May 1983 across North and South America.
