Speidel Textron is a manufacturer of watchbands and related itemsbased in East Providence, Rhode Island, United States. The company was founded already back in 1867 and it grew fast in the 50s when they were among the first companies to have TV advertisement. In the 70s the company expanded first in Canadan then through Australia, to England, Germany and the Nordic countries. In 1972 they were manufacturing metal watchbands for Seiko who at the time had just introduced the Quartz watch. In 1981 Speidel released this vinyl album as an advertisement for their bracelets. On this disc youll find some of the bigger stars of the late 70s. Here you have Cheap Trick, Kiss, Journey, K.C And The Sunshine Band, Atlanta Rhythm Section and more.
