Mighty Midgets is a melodic hardcore band from Aalborg, Denmark formed in June 2006. The band has played more than 125 shows all over Europe with bands as The Unseen, Streetlight Manifesto, Smoke or Fire, Voice of a Generation, This is a Standoff, Real McKenzies, Off With Their Heads, Fake Problems, MDC and many more. Mighty Midgets takes pride in writing evocative songs; often with political and personally charged lyrics. The band tries to keep a somewhat educated and positive outlook in their songs yet deals with serious subjects such as racism, homophobia, free speech and the state of the environment.
Revenge of the Psychotronic Man is a 3 piece band based in Manchester UK who play a brand of ridiculously fast punk rock, influenced by the likes of Zeke, Dead Kennedys, Kid Dynamite and the Ramones. The band have toured the UK on numerous occasions and also ventured to the Czech Republic. Revenge of… have shared a stage with the likes of Bad Religion, Discharge, Anti Nowhere League, Goldblade any more.
Fists of the North Star from Nashville play fast hardcore that mix elements of bands like Botch. They break it down and solo in typical hardcore fashion, but this really isn’t very typical hardcore at all. The music is thrashy with a metallic tinge to it. They are quite talented with how they play and the vocals sound like something that would fit in a west coast skate punk band. These aren’t typical hardcore vocals but definitely sound good. Its nice to hear some different styles than the typical screaming or tough guy vocals. His vocals are my favourite part of the band as you can truly feel his energy on this record.
Broken Aris is a four headed technical skate punk machine from Sundsvall, Sweden. The band was founded in the Winter of 2006/2007. The band are inspired by everything from Hardcore and Screamo to power metal. The band has created a rather unique and twisted sound that should please fans into Millencolin, Nofx, Rise Against, Silverstein, F.I.B, Skumdum and/or Raised Fist.
