An Australian low price compilation album featuring no less than 33 metal tracks split onto two vinyls and released by Australian label Concept records back in 1987. You will find timeless metal heroes like Judas Priest, Blue Oyster Cult, Ufo, Motorhead, Ac/dc, Uriah Heep mixed with bands that were rather new on the metal scene back then, like The Firm, Quiet Riot, Poison, Hannover Fist etc. What makes this compilation together with two heavy metal compilations the label released back in 1985 (Metal Madness and Headbangers Heaven) is that they put on alot of Australian acts on them to push their local scene. On side two we find the Australian rock band Divinyls, side three has Ac/dc and Heaven but then comes side 4 which is a side devoted totally to Australian acts. Australia’s most famous thrash act Mortal Sin or hardcore act Hard-Ons shouldnt come as a surprise but then we have 7 more acts. Red Alert, Stoker and Lightning Rock and are all bands that never managed to release anything else to my knowledge. Chris Eggleton is a multi talent that wrote tracks for Warner Brother acts for 15 years and have worked with many of the biggest international Warner stars. On this compilation album he gets a chance to perform one of his own tracks (he was also on the Headbangers Heaven) album. Spunk Bubbles is the Australian thrash/speed punk act that released the Speak Lebanese Or Die vinyl back in 1987. Titan was an act from Adelaide that had tracks on all three metal compilations that Concept released (this one and the two previously mentioned Headbangers Heaven and Metal Madness). Titan only released one mega rare single in Australia in 1984. The two single tracks can be found on the first two compilations while the track found on this disc is exclusive for this album. The track with Perths Black Alice are taken from their 1984 EP, No Warning.
