Possessed was Venoms fourth album and it did get poor reviews everywhere and it wasnt as groundbreaking as the previous three. Still it was pure Venom and it sounded like nothing on earth. To coincide with the release was this Nightmare single, a single featuring a song that was not available on the album. If you dont like Possessed then dont fear this is a killer track. The production is slim, but somehow it sounds better than the material present on Possessed. It’s got a catchy course and a nice riff and its strange they never put it out on the album. The B-side is Satanachist from the album which has a creepy beginning and some of the coolest lyrics Cronos ever wrote.
