Description

Limited 300 copies

Bay Area was the birthplace for American thrash metal and part of the second wave of bands came acts such as Forbidden, Death Angel, Defiance and Vio-lence. Vio-lence was a short-lived act that released the Eternal Nightmare album in 1988 and Oppressing The Masses in 1990, an album produced by Alex Perialas that also produced such thrash classics as Anthrax’s Spreading The Disease and Testament’s The Legacy. This band would become much bigger later on when they changed name to Machine Head. However as Vio-lence they were a ferocious and intricate thrash metal act with Sean Killian buzzing bee vocals. During the tour for their second album the band did several shows with Defiance and one of these shows, the one at Blondies in Detroit on the 29th of September 1990, were taped and put on this limited album. Not many live recordings with Vio-lence has shown up so if you want to find out what this band sounded like in a small club then this once for you.
